After three years the African Fashion show was back in London. Our Vertic Agency attended this fashion show at the Freemasons Hall in London.
The stunning architecture in the Freemasons Hall, gives the “cherry on the cake” for every fashion event.
Of course African fashion designs are always spectacular to watch and to photograph.

African fashion designers bring to the stage new and fresh fashion. Their fashion trend is about colour and style. Fabrics are very natural and flowing and embrace both cultural and visual aspects of the African continent.
We saw on the catwalk much more world class fashion covering everyday, evening, formal and bridal wear.

African fashion culture has a particular history. New African designers introduce their designs across the world. Many designers featuring the African style are based in the UK where they build their own fashion character and brand. It was great to see designers from Nigeria exhibiting at AFWL 2022. We hope they will find new customers in UK.
African fashion draws on the strength of the cultural history of their continent.
When fashion is used to continue the dynamics of African history and culture and push them forward, it is not surprising when African style is in the spotlight from international catwalks to world trade fair centres.
African fashion culture is the inspiration for many fashion icons such as Michelle Obama, Rihana , Naomi Campbell, Theresa May and others.

BACK STAGE AT AFRICAN FASHION WEEK 2022
There was a nice and friendly atmosphere backstage amongst make up artists, hairdressers and dressers to make the fashion perfect.
And of course flying photographers to catch the best shot ( including our agency) and to record video for every detail.
